COVID 19 PREPARDNESS

Palmetto Southern Comfort is consistently monitoring the circumstances surrounding COVID-19 under the direction and guidelines of  the CDC,  SCDHHS and SCDHEC.

We have outlined our plans to ensure essential health services that prioritize safety and the well-being of our clients and  support professionals during this pandemic.

In response to the COVID-19 our  support professionals have received

​

• CDC (Centers for Disease Control) training on workplace safety

• OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Administration) training on environmental & workplace safety

• SCDHEC (South Carolina Department of Health & Environmental Control) training on transmission & prevention

• Infection Control Kit for each home

•  PPE 

• Daily temperature checks

• Daily health screening acknowledgement

We will continue to keep our support professionals updated on infection control practices and guidelines.
