HOW DO YOU SCREEN YOUR PROFESSIONALS.
We screen all of our professionals through multiple agencies. This includes drug testing, background, sex offender and abuse registry. All staff are trained by a Registered Nurse and insured by PSC.
WHAT PAY SOURCES DO YOU ACCEPT?
We accept Private Pay, Medicaid, Veterans Affairs, Dept. Of Disability Waivers and some LTC policies.
DOES VA PAY FOR HOMECARE
VA provides Home Based Community Waivers and also Aid and Attendance. VA benefits are not automatically given; they must be applied for, and recipients must meet certain requirements. Veterans with spouses could receive over $23,000 annually toward personal home care assistance, assisted living or nursing home care. Spouses of deceased veterans may be eligible for over $12,000 annually.
ARE WE LOCKED INTO A CONTRACT?
No, you are not obligated to receive services from PSC. We ask that you inform the agency 2 days prior to terminating services.
